Fridays in Tollywood are usually reserved for new movie releases, so the audience could watch the movies in a theater with their loved ones. The last week saw the releases of Mosagallu, Sashi and Chaavu Kaburu Challaga. Sashi and Mosagallu have turned out to be crowd pullers and are performing strongly at the box office. However, this week also promises to be a treat for movie goers as there are three movies lined up for theatrical release.
This week is packed with quite a few interesting movies. We will present to you the movie releases this week so that movie buffs can enjoy them.
1) Rang De
The Nithiin starring upcoming romantic comedy film Rang De, is one of the most awaited films. The film is directed by Venky Atluri and features Keerthy Suresh as the leading lady. A trailer for Rang De released last week shows how Nithiin’s character ends up marrying Keerthy Suresh’s character, as circumstances force him into the wedding. The trailer also shows how Nithiin ends up doing household chores and becomes a house-husband against his liking. Rang De is scheduled to release in theatres on March 26, 2021.
2) Aranya
Rana Daggubati will appear as Bandev in the upcoming film Aranya, directed by Prabu Solomon. A trailer for Aranya was released recently in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. The trailer shows Bandev walking among the elephants and looks to be a part of the herd. As the trailer progresses, things take a turn for the worse when a corporate entity walls off a section of the forest which is used by the elephant herd to graze. The move by the corporate entity enrages the elephants, tribals, naxals and Bandev. How the multiple communities who depend on the jungle come together to overthrow the corporate entity in a battle for good and saving the elephants forms the story of Aranya.
3) Thellavarithe Guruvaram
Sri Simha popularly known for his debut movie Mathu Vadalara, a comedy thriller, is now back with another interesting romantic comedy titled Thellavarithe Guruvaram. The movie is penned by Nagendra Pilla and helmed by Manikanth Gelli. The film is jointly produced by Rajani Korrapati and Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni. Thellavarithe Guruvaram features Chitra Shukla of Rangula Ratnam fame and new comer Misha Narang in the lead roles. Rajeev Kanakala, Satya, Ajay, Viva Harsha and Sharanya Pradeep are appearing in pivotal roles. Music is composed by Sri Simha’s very own brother Kaala Bhairava and Suresh Ragutu is cranking the camera. Thellavarithe Guruvaram is produced under the banners of Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram and Loukya Entertainments. Thellavarithe Guruvaram is slated to hit the big screens on March 27th, 2021.
