Pan Indian actor Rana Daggubati will be seen next in the multilingual film, titled Aranya in Telugu, Kaadan in Tamil and Haathi Mere Saathi, in Hindi. The film is written and directed by Prabhu Solomon. Yesterday, on the occasion of World Wildlife Day, the trailer of Rana Daggubati’s much awaited action spectacle Aranya was unveiled to a roaring response from netizens.
The trailer showed Rana Daggubati as Bandev, a mahout and conservationist, who goes the extra mile to save the forest land and elephants. The trailer is receiving mad response and has garnered more than 5.2 Million views in just a matter of a few hours. One of the highlight parts of the trailer, which the audience loved the most, is the voiceover. Rana’s uncle and actor Venkatesh Daggubati lent his voice for the trailer of the film. It is not just the trailer, Venkatesh is also lending his voice for Rana’s father role in the film.

Aranya is a fictional tale inspired by true incidents and people, particularly environment activist Jadav Payeng. Shriya Pilgaonkar, Zoya Hussain, Vishnu Vishal and Raghu Babu will appear in supporting roles. The music for Aranya is composed by Shantanu Moitra and the lyrics for the Telugu version are written by Vanamaali. Aranya is slated for release on March 26th, 2021.
