Akkineni Nagarjuna is one of the popular veteran actors who has been ruling the Telugu film industry for a very long time now. The actor is known for picking films from different genres like Raju Gari Gadhi 2, Oopiri and many others in his illustrious career. Nagarjuna announced his next movie with Praveen Sattaru of Guntur Talkies and PSV Garuda Vega fame.
Praveen Sattaru’s PSV Garuda Vega is one of the best police action thrillers in recent times and has earned Praveen Sattaru critical acclaim. Sattaru is now looking to replicate the same success with Nagarjuna who would be seen playing the role of an ex RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) agent who turns into a security officer for a private mission. Praveen Sattaru, while talking to a popular regional daily said the Nagarjuna starrer would be on par with Hollywood movies. Narrative styles and scripts from Hollywood would be adapted into making the upcoming Nagarjuna starrer according to Sattaru.

The team behind the untitled Nagarjuna conducted a puja ceremony earlier in February 2021. The film also went onto the floors as shooting commenced on the same day in Hyderabad. Earlier reports suggested Nagarjuna is collaborating with Praveen Sattaru for the Telugu remake of the acclaimed Bollywood film, Raid. However, we would get more clarity once Praveen Sattaru throws more light on the plot of the film.
Bollywood’s Gul Panag and Anki Surendran will also be seen in supporting roles for this untitled Nagarjuna starrer. Sri Venkateswara Creations and North Star Entertainment are jointly bankrolling this project.
