Gopichand, also known as the Macho Star of Tollywood, will be seen next in the upcoming sports film, Seetimaarr. The film is helmed by Sampath Nandi and features Tamannaah Bhatia and Digangana Suryavanshi as the leading ladies. Seetimaarr is in its last leg of the shooting schedule and the team are prepping up for the updates.
The fans of the Macho Star have been asking for an update about the film for a long time and finally, the director announced it. Friday evening, Director Sampath Nandi took to Twitter and announced the teaser of Seetimaarr will be released on February 22, 2021, at 10:36 A.M.

Prior to the lockdown, almost 60% of the shoot was wrapped up in three schedules, which took place at Rajahmundry and Hyderabad. In October, the team of Seetimaarr kicked off the post COVID shoot and worked on major portions of the film in Hyderabad, Goa and Rajasthan. The team is all set to shoot a special song with Apsara Rani in the next few days.
Seetimaarr is based on the Kabaddi sport, where Gopichand will be seen playing the role of a coach from Andhra Pradesh, who will have a face off with Tamannaah Bhatia’s character Jwala Reddy, the coach of the Telangana all girls hockey team. The film also includes Bhumika Chawla, Posani Krishna Murali, Rao Ramesh, Rehaman and Tarun Arora in pivotal roles. Seetimaarr is slated to hit the big screens on April 2nd, ahead of Telugu New Year, Ugadi.
