The critically acclaimed Bollywood superhit film Andhadhun is being remade in Telugu, starring Nithiin in the lead role and is tentatively referred to as #Nithiin30. Tamannaah Bhatia will reprise the role of Tabu in the Telugu remake while Nabha Natesh will reprise Radhika Apte’s role as the leading lady. Nithiin will be reprising the role of Ayushmann Khurrana, a blind musician.
The makers of #Nithiin30 have finally announced a release date for the Andhadhun remake. The movie is scheduled to release in theaters on June 11th, 2021. The filmmakers would now seek to announce the title now that the release date has been finalised.

Merlapaka Gandhi who is directing the Telugu remake does not want to deviate too much from the original movie. Speaking about it, Gandhi said, “We don’t want to tamper with the original too much. It’s a National Award-winning film and we want to treat it with the respect it deserves. However, we will be making a few changes to the screenplay so that it connects better with the Telugu audience. (sic.)”
Andhadhun is a story about a pianist who gets entangled in the murder of an ex- actor. The pianist then finds himself caught in the web of a human organ trafficking mafia where he loses his eyes. The Andhadhun Telugu remake is directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy will produce the film under Nithiin’s home banner Sreshth Movies. Tagore Madhu will present the film. Mahati Swara Sagar will render tunes, while Hari K. Vedanth cranks the camera for the film.
