Chakra is an upcoming film starring Vishal, Regina Cassandra and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Chakra is directed by M.S. Anandan and revolves around a mass robbery that happens on Independence Day. As the film is gearing up for the big release in a few days, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make the fans excited for the film.
Today the makers of the film took to social media and released a sneak peek video of the Vishal starrer Chakra. The sneak peek video was released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The video begins with Vishal pinpointing that we don’t fight for the things which need light but, show our power on weaker people. Watch the video here!

Chakra was initially said to be a sequel to Vishal’s 2018 action thriller Irumbu Thirai, which had a successful run at the box office. However, Director Anandan clarified that Chakra is a stand alone film and not a direct sequel to the 2018 film. Chakra also stars Srushti Dange, Robo Shankar, and Manobala in key roles. The music of the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the cinematography is by Balasubramaniem. Chakra is produced by Vishal, under his banner Vishaal Film Factory and is slated to release in theatres worldwide on February 19, 2021.
