The upcoming Telugu movie Uppena is one the most talked about and anticipated films of Tollywood. The biggest reason why Uppena is already considered a hit is because of its top notch music album. The music of Uppena is composed by ace Music Director Devi Sri Prasad, also known as DSP. After soothing songs like Nee Kannu Neeli Samudram and Dhak Dhak, which garnered a million views, the latest song, which is abuzz is Ranguladdhukunna.
Devi Sri Prasad, who composed Ranguladdhukunna song, shared a BTS video of his composition. The special thing about this video is Director Sukumar, who is producing the film, seems to be enjoying the music as he can be seen grooving to it. Sharing the video on Twitter, Devi Sri Prasad wrote, “Here’s d Original #Ranguladdhukunna Composing musical notes. When I heard d Situation n composed Instantly n d Fun We all had. Ranguladdhukunna song is sung by Yazin Nizar and Haripriya and the lyrics are by Sreemani. DSP proved his magic again through this song and Yazin Nazir’s voice is mind blowing. The song also has a very sweet note at the start and is dedicated to the late S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. The note in the video added this was Devi Sri Prasad’s first song after the lockdown and that he thought it was fit to dedicate it to a man who sang and directed his first song, the legend S. P. Balasubrahmanyam.

Uppena will mark the debut of Panja Vaisshnav, the nephew of Chiranjeevi and brother of Sai Dharam Tej. The film also marks the debut of Krithi Shetty in Tollywood, who is the leading lady . The film is bankrolled by popular filmmaker Sukumar, in association with Mythri Movie Makers. Uppena is all set for its theatrical release on February 12th, 2021.
