Sunday, February 8, will be remembered as the tragic chapter in modern Indian history. Due to a glacier break, a giant flood hit the Chamoli District of Uttarakhand State. The breaking of the glacier, flooded and damaged the Rishiganga Dam that was built on the Alaknanda river. As of now, the government identified seven bodies and over 150 people missing and many residents under the debris have been evacuated to rescue camps.
While several videos surfaced on the internet which displayed the disastrous impact of the natural calamity, netizens around the country are in a state of shock and grief. Ever since the incident took place, social media is flooded with prayers for the victims who were affected by the flood. Similarly, multiple Tollywood celebrities took to their social media profiles sending condolences and prayers to the victims of the sudden tragedy.
