Kajal Aggarwal became the first South actress to get a wax statue at the prestigious Madame Tussauds museum, in Singapore. The actress unveiled her wax statue with her family exactly a year ago on February 5, 2020. Kajal’s sister Nisha and other family members were also present at the launch event. Now a year later, Kajal Aggarwal makes a revelation about how her then boyfriend Gautam Kitchlu got a private screening of her wax figure before it was launched to the world.
Sharing a picture of herself and Gautham along with the wax statue, Kajal Aggarwal posted, “#throwback to @mtssingapore wax statue launch a year ago❤️ @kitchlug got a private viewing before she was launched to the whole world, he flew in to Singapore for a couple of hours on the 4th, just so that he could be there for my big moment 😍😘 and had to reach Germany for his work commitment on the 5th morning. p.s- who knew the pandemic would become such a life altering / threatening event back then! #timeflies p.s.s- I love how he’s got eyes only for me.” (sic)
Kajal and Gautam were married in October 2020 in the presence of their family members in Mumbai. They tied the knot during the pandemic and it was the lockdown situation that encouraged them to take the plunge. The couple were friends for 6 years and then dated each other for 3 years before deciding on forever.
