Rashmika Mandanna, who is ruling the roost in Telugu cinema right now, made her debut 3 years back. The actress made her debut in Telugu with Venky Kudumula’s directorial film Chalo, co starring Naga Shaurya. Today, the film marks 3 years of its theatrical release and Rashmika Mandanna went nostalgic remembering the memories.
On Tuesday, Rashmika took to social media and shared a few unseen pictures from her debut film, Chalo. Along with the pictures, she also penned a thankful note, which says, “It’s been 3 years of Chalo and 3 years of me in the Telugu Film Industry.. The fun has just begun..White heart Loving it! #3YearsOfChalo (sic.)” With Chalo marking 3 years, it is a double milestone for Rashmika Mandanna as it has been 3 years since she entered Tollywood and proved to be one of the best.

Chalo also marks the debut of Director Venky Kudumula, who has introduced Rashmika to the Telugu audience. As Chalo completes 3 years, the director shared an old post where he said Rashmika would be the next promising face of Tollywood on social media and wrote, Thank you for proving me right @iamRashmika (sic.)” The director also thanked the audience for loving the film.

Chalo features Naga Shaurya and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The film became Naga Shourya’s highest grosser in India and overseas. Chalo is set around a village called Tiruppuram, which is divided into half by Telugu and Tamil people. The main leads fall in love but are distraught when they find out they are from different castes. The film also featured Naresh, Pragathi, Viva Harsha, Vennela Kishore, Posani Murali Krishna and Satya.
