Gatham is a Telugu thriller which features Bhargava Poludasu, Rakesh Galebhe and Poojitha Kuraparthi in lead roles. Gatham was written and directed by Kiran Kondamadugula. What made the movie so special is it was made by Indian IT professionals who stay in the United States of America and is also entirely shot in the United States of America. The movie which released on Amazon Prime Video garnered a lot of positive talk for the kind of cinematography, music and the thrilling twists the makers have employed. Critics have raved about how the movie was the perfect thriller and the quality was top notch even though it was made by first timers.
The positive talk for Gatham and the quality of the movie is finally paying dividends. Gatham was one of the Telugu movies to be selected for screening at the prestigious International Film Festival of India which is being held in Goa, India. Bhargav Poladasu, the actor and producer of Gatham was in attendance for the film festival. Gatham is the only Telugu movie to get selected for the prestigious film festival and it happened under the Indian Panorama category. The IFFI began on January 16th and ends on January 24, 2021 and will see the participation of 26 feature films and 21 non feature films.
Gatham is a psychological thriller that is made by a group of US based students and IT professionals, who are all in their late 20s. The film is jointly produced by Offbeat Films and S Originals, in association with Mango Mass Media. Gatham was released on November 6 on the OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video exclusively.
