Radhe Shyam is one of the most anticipated movies of Indian cinema as it has Prabhas in the lead role, along with Pooja Hegde. Helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar, Radhe Shyam is set against the backdrop of Paris in the 1980s and features Prabhas as Vikram Aditya and Pooja Hegde as Prerna. The film is only getting bigger and bigger because of the star studded cast and the latest to join is Prabhas’ uncle Krishnam Raju.
Recently, while speaking in an interview, Krishnam Raju has opened up about playing a crucial role in the film. The veteran actor said, “I am playing the role of a sacred sage, Paramhansa in the film. Only a few scenes shooting is left and we will wrap it up very soon (sic.)”
Krishnam Raju further added Radhe Shyam will hit the theatres in April this year. Radhe Shyam will mark the third collaboration between Prabhas and Krishnam Raju after blockbuster films like Billa and Rebel movies.
After New Year’s Eve, Prabhas and Pooja Hegde commenced the shooting schedule at the Falaknuma Palace, in Hyderabad. Recently Pooja Hegde has wrapped up shooting for her portions and Prabhas is yet complete the remaining scenes of the film.
Radhe Shyam is jointly produced by UV Creations and Gopi Krishna Movies. The film is being made simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, while being dubbed in Tamil and Malayalam. The big budget romantic drama features an ensemble cast with the likes of Priyadarshi, Sachin Khedekar, Murli Sharma, Riddhi Kumar, Sasha Chettri, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Sathyan in pivotal roles. Music composer Justin Prabhakaran is scoring the music.
