Rakul Preet Singh will be seen next in an upcoming Tamil science fiction film, Ayalaan, paired opposite Sivakarthikeyan. After a long postponement due to COVID-19, the team of Ayalaan resumed the 10 day shooting schedule, on the occasion of Pongal, in Chennai. Today, the makers announced they have wrapped up the entire shoot with only a few days of patchwork left.
The lead actor Sivakarthikeyan wrapped up his portions during this 10 days schedule and actress Rakul Preet Singh’s portions would be completed in the next couple of days. As the team is on the verge of completion in just a few days, Rakul shared a perfect selfie with her Ayalaan co star Sivakarthikeyan and Director Ravi Kumar. Sharing a picture from the sets of the film, Rakul Preet wrote, “Almost wrapping the last schedule of #ayalaan last 3 days for me.. what a passionate director @Ravikumar_Dir and sweetest costar @Siva_Kartikeyan! (sic.)”

Ayalaan is touted to be a sci-fi flick, which revolves around an alien that lands on Earth. The film is produced by 24 AM Studios and A.R. Rahman is scoring the music. The cinematography of the film is handled by Nirav Shah and editing by Ruben. Ayalaan also features Karunakaran, Yogi Babu, Isha Koppikar and Sharad Kelkar in supporting roles. Ayalaan, which has a huge amount of VFX involved, is expected to release during the Summer, 2021.
