Vijay Deverakonda will make his Bollywood debut with VD10, a movie produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Puri Connects, a production house owned by Puri Jagannath and Charmme Kaur. Ananya Panday was cast as the female lead and was earlier seen in Student Of The Year 2 and Pati Patni Aur Woh. VD10 is a movie based on mixed martial arts, for which Vijay Deverakonda underwent intensive training. Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishnu Reddy, Getup Srinu and Ali will also appear in supporting roles in VD10.
The makers have finally unveiled the title and the first look of Vijay Deverakonda after quite a long wait. The movie is titled Liger and the first look shows Vijay in a boxing pose with boxing gloves on while the backdrop is a face made up of half Tiger and half Lion. Check out the poster below.

Vijay Deverakonda took to his Twitter to share an emotional message which reads “Someone with my background shouldn’t have reached anywhere near here according to the conventions & set Norms. But with sheer madness, passion, hard work, Here we are! For everyone like me, it is ok for all of us to dream big, Believe and make it happen (sic.)”

The maiden schedule of the Puri Jagannadh directorial was shot in Mumbai during the early months of 2020 and has reportedly resumed shoot post the COVID 19 lockdown.
