Vijay Sethupathi, fondly known as Makkal Selvan, is one of the talented and busiest actors in South India.  The actor is a delight to watch, be it in the role of a lover in Nenu Rowdy Ne, or an old theater artist in Seethakathi, or a transgender in Super Deluxe.   Vijay Sethupathi will now be adding another feather in his cap as he is all set to make his debut in Bollywood with a silent film titled Gandhi Talks.

Today, on January 19, on the occasion of Vijay Sethupathi’s birthday, he took to social media and announced that he will be making his debut as the protagonist in Bollywood with a silent film.  Helmed by Director Kishor Pandurang Belekar, the movie has been titled Gandhi Talks.  The first look was released and it showed Vijay Sethupathi laying his head on the title Gandhi Talks, with Indian rupees in the background.  The poster also mentioned that Gandhi Talks will celebrate the silent era once again.  The first poster looks way beyond intriguing and the fans are eagerly waiting to witness the Vijay Sethupathi magic on the big screen.

It is to be noted the last silent film was the Kamal Haasan starrer Pushpaka Vimana in 1987, which released in Hindi as Pushpak, in Tamil as Pesum Padam, and Pushpakvimanam in Malayalam.  After almost decades, the silent film is coming back to entertain the audience and Vijay Sethupathi featuring in it is an oomph to the Indian cinema. Gandhi Talks is said to be releasing in six languages which include Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
