Maara is an Indian Tamil language romantic drama film, which was released on Amazon Prime Video on January 8, 2021. The film is directed by Dhilip Kumar and stars R. Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles. Maara is a remake of Charlie, the 2016 Malayalam film starring Dulquer and Parvathy.
Maara is originally a Tamil film and is dubbed in other South Indian languages including Telugu and Malayalam. The film follows a picaresque structure, documenting the adventures of a man who wears his heart on his sleeve and a woman who is in his pursuit. Shraddha Srinath, who plays the role of Paaru is in search of Madhavan, a painter whom she has never seen before. The film also stars Sshivada, and Abhirami among others in the supporting roles.
