Pan Indian actor Prabhas is on a spree of signing back to back films. While he already has 3 films in his pocket, the actor announced another pan Indian film titled Salaar, with KGF Director Prashanth Neel. The film is undoubtedly one of the highly awaited films of the year. The latest update about Salaar is reportedly John Abraham would be joining the cast as the antagonist.
According to the latest reports, the handsome hunk of Bollywood, John Abraham, who is known for top notch action performance, would be playing the antagonist role in the Prabhas starrer Salaar. If reports are to be believed, the team has approached John with the script and are waiting for a green signal from the Bollywood actor.
The director recently revealed the meaning of the title, which has received many interpretations. He said, “As far as the film is concerned, it means commander in chief. You can say that a Salaar is the right hand man to a king. He is the general (sic.)”
Salaar is touted to be an underworld action drama and Prabhas is said to be seen in a never before seen actioner. The film is backed by renowned producer Vijay Kiragandur under his home production banner Hombale films. Cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda, who worked with Prashanth Neel on all his films, Ugramm, KGF: Chapter 1 and KGF: Chapter 2, will be working on Salaar too. The film is also said to be the biggest release of 2021.
