Dhanush is one of the busiest actors with several projects in different industries like Tamil film Jagame Thandhiram, the Bollywood film Atrangi Re, Tamil film Aayirathil Oruvan 2, the Hollywood film The Gray Man and others. The actor recently joined hands with Director Karthik Naren for another new upcoming Tamil film, which is tentatively referred to as #D43. On Friday, the yet to be titled film was officially launched and began rolling.
Dhanush’s #D43 was officially launched today with a formal puja ceremony in Chennai. The ceremony was graced by Dhanush, Malavika Mohanan, Samuthirakani, Smruthi Venkat, G.V. Prakash and the whole team.

Touted to be a mystery thriller, #D43 will feature Malavika Mohanan as the leading lady and actress Smruthi Venkat of Thadam fame, in a pivotal role opposite Dhanush. National Award Winning actor Samuthirakani has been roped in for an important role in the film. . G.V. Prakash is composing music, Vivek is penning the lyrics, additional dialogues and screenplay. Sharfu and Suhas, the writers of Malayalam films Varathan and Virus will co write the film.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is awaiting the release of his film with Karthik Subbaraj titled, Jagame Thandhiram. The film was supposed to hit theatres on May 1, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the release has been postponed. He recently wrapped up shooting for the Bollywood movie Atrangi Re, co starring Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar. Dhanush will be joining the sets of his upcoming Hollywood film, The Gray Man during the month of February.
