Deepika Padukone will be seen in the upcoming sports biopic titled 83, as Romi Devi, the wife of Kapil Dev. The movie is based on Kapil Dev, an Indian cricketing legend and how he led India to its first world cup victory in 1983. Ranveer Singh is playing the role of Kapil Dev in 83. Additionally Deepika will also be making her Tollywood debut alongside Prabhas. This untitled movie also has Amitabh Bachchan in a full length role and will be directed by Nag Ashwin.
