Veteran filmmaker of Tollywood, Raghavendra Rao, who has a career spanning more than five decades with 100 films of direction, will be returning to the showbiz world with his superhit film Pelli Sandadi. The director is coming up with the sequel to his 1996 blockbuster, Pelli Sandadi after taking a break of two years from the limelight.
The legendary director is making his return once again by directing the sequel to Pelli Sandadi but, only this time to suit the sentimentalities of this day and age. The newer version will star Srikanth’s son Roshan in the lead role. The team recently wrapped up the film’s first schedule in which a song and talkie part was shot over 8 days. The next schedule will begin from January 27 and it will last for 12 days.
The original Pelli Sandadi starred Srikanth and now his son Roshan is being relaunched once again. Roshan played the younger version of Rana Daggubati in Rudhramadevi and later turned into the male lead actor with the 2016 Nirmala Convent film, which was bankrolled by Akkineni Nagarjuna.

Raghavendra Rao will be supervising the direction department, Director Gowri Ronanki will be helming the flick. M.M. Keeravani, who composed the tunes for the original film has been retained as the music director for this sequel.
