Samantha Akkineni will be next seen in the Tamil film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, directed by Vignesh Shivan. The film also features Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the lead roles. The team of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, began the shoot in Hyderabad and Samantha Akkineni joined the sets on Tuesday.
Samantha Akkineni shared a fun video from the sets of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal as director Vignesh Shivan extended his warm welcome by presenting a bouquet. In the video, Samantha can be seen having her makeup done and she says that Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal has begun from December 15. The director barges in and welcomes her with a bouquet. Samantha asked him if the shot was ready. To which, Vignesh replied laughingly, “No, it won’t be ready in 10 minutes. So, you come to the shooting spot later (sic.)”
Vignesh Shivan also shared the video and wrote, “A very Warm Welcome to @samantharuthprabhuoffl. Looking forwardsss. Positive beginning from today 🙂 (sic.)”

Yesterday, Vignesh Shivan also welcomed Vijay Sethupathi on the sets with a quirky video. He presented a bouquet to Vijay Sethupathi and they both hugged with big smiles. Sharing the video, the director wrote, “Hero entry & Some exchange of love. Welcome back Herovaeee. Always special to work wit you 🙂 to be in your vicinity !!! Looking forward to make something better than before (sic).”
