While Regina Cassandra is well known for her beauty and her acting talent, the young actress has unleashed another side of her which is nothing short of superhuman. Regina participated in the Wild Warrior Himalayan Adventure Race which took place on December 12th, in the 30 for 30 challenge. As the name says 30 for 30 challenge consists of a thirty kilometer challenge with the proceeds going to help thirty children of lower socioeconomic class. The 2020 edition of the adventure race took place in the scenic State of Uttarakhand. The race consists of mountain biking and hiking, spread across sixty five kilometers on land and water.
Regina won the 2020 edition of the Wild Warrior Himalayan Adventure Race proving that there is more to her than just acting. The event objective was to spread awareness about haemophilia and cancer, with another objective being to support at least thirty children. The funds were raised for charities Regina closely works with and the fundraiser was started on November 7th. What made the win even sweeter was it happened on the eve of Regina’s birthday.

However, Regina is not new to adventure sports and participating in competitions. In 2018, Regina won the Wild Warrior Duathlon (running and biking) which was held in Bengaluru. The actress is also keen on learning surfing and has begun to take beginners lessons as well as began learning how to paddle board once the lockdown lifted.
With the film industry slowly limping back to normalcy, Regina is keen to get back with her hectic schedule. On the work front, Regina Cassandra is working on a woman centric thriller drama with Director Caarthick Raju. The film is bilingual– in Tamil, it is titled Soorpanagai and in Telugu, it is titled Nene Naa. The actress will also be shaking a leg with Chiranjeevi in a special song i the upcoming Siva Koratala film, Acharya.
