The Telugu remake of the Kannada hit film Love Mocktail stars the versatile Satyadev and Tamannaah Bhatia and has been titled Gurthunda Seethakalam. The film is being directed by Nagasekhar. The film is a story of a young guy who reminisces about his love life and the heartbreaks he endured in his quest to find his true love. The film is currently progressing the second schedule of shooting in Hyderabad. The original film had Darling Krishna and Milana Nagaraj in the lead roles.
Speaking about the film in an interview, actor Satydev said, “The graph of this film has certainly reached a whole new level with the arrival of Tamannaah. I thank the director for choosing me to be a part of this wonderful film. The characters of Megha Akash and Kavya Shetty will turn out to be the special attractions (sic.)”
Tamannaah Bhatia also spoke about the remake film and said, “It’s been quite some time since I did a love story and it seems like I forgot to romance on the screen. I said an immediate yes to this project due to the wonderful script and good actors like Satya Dev as co-stars (sic.)”
Along with Bhavani Ravi, director Nagashekar is co-producing Gurthunda Seethakalam under the banner Nagashekar Movies. While MM Keeravani’s son, Kala Bhairava is composing the music of the film.
