Mahesh Babu and Thalapathy Vijay are the biggest and popular stars of the South film industry. Their fan base doesn’t just confine to their respective states but goes beyond that, and to say that we have solid proof. For today’s Wayback Wednesday, we chanced upon one such epic moment where Mahesh Babu and Thalapathy Vijay were all set for a multi-starrer.
Popular director A.R Murugadoss, who helmed Mahesh Babu’s super hit film Sypder in 2017, revealed in an interview that he planned a massive multi-starrer in Telugu and Tamil languages with Mahesh Babu as the protagonist and Vijay as the antagonist before Sypder. Interestingly, both the actors also agreed and gave a green signal to the film.
Murugadoss further added that Vijay agreed to play the villain only on one condition. “He said he would only do it opposite Mahesh Babu and not any other hero,” said the director. The best part is Mahesh Babu seemingly agrees to it as he can be seen laughing in the video. However, till today there has been no news about this multi-starrer but fans of Superstar and Thalapathy somewhere wish that this becomes true.
