Prakash Raj, who is known for his outspoken nature, recently criticised Pawan Kalyan on his political moves and the latter’s elder brother, Naga Babu, retaliated. This became a huge topic in showbiz and politics as both the actors, Prakash Raj and Pawan Kalyan are working together in the upcoming courtroom drama Vakeel Saab.
Speaking to a leading daily about the issue, Prakash Raj said, “We do not carry everything on the film sets because, on the sets, we are actors, and Pawan knows that too. We have been shooting for the film for some time and both of us have mutual respect (sic.)”
Prakash Raj further said that Power Star understands that his criticism is only ideological and nothing personal. As such, the political differences won’t be allowed to spill over into their profession. He also said that he understands Naga Babu’s love for his brother.

Vakeel Saab is a remake of the blockbuster Bollywood film Pink with Pawan Kalyan reprising the role played by Amitabh Bachchan in the original. The film is directed by Venu Sriram and produced jointly by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor. Vakeel Saab’s motion poster was released on Pawan Kalyan’s birthday and received a spectacular response from the Telugu audience. The team is currently shooting for the film in Hyderabad and are expected to wrap up very soon. Vakeel Saab is likely to hit the theatres in 2021.
