Rakul Preet Singh has made a name for herself in Tollywood as an extremely bankable star.  Having made her debut with Venkatadri Express seven years ago, Rakul has come a long way in such a short period of time.  Rakul has acted alongside the biggest star in Telugu Cinema like Ram Charan and Jr. NTR.  As Rakul completes seven years in the industry, the actress shared an emotional post of gratitude for her fans and peers.

Posting on her Instagram profile, Rakul Preet said although she hails from Delhi, she has become a pakka Telugu Ammayi in these seven years.  Rakul said “I was all smiles then and all smiles now and the reason is all the people who accepted me with soo much love ❤️ From being a delhi girl to a pakka telugu ammayi, This journey has been beyond beautiful. Thanking every director, producer, costar, peer, friend and fan who believed in me, stood by me , appreciated and criticized me to help me evolve into a better me with each passing day. Nothing of course would have been possible without my family , manager and team (sic.)”

On the professional front, Rakul will play the role of an advocate in Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s Check, with Nithiin and Priya Prakash Varrier as her co-stars.  Rakul is also playing a village belle in an untitled film by Krish with Panja Vaishnav Tej as her co-star.   Apart from that, she also has a Tamil film with Sivakarthikeya and three Bollywood films in the pipeline.
