Rajamouli directorial Chatrapathi, was one of the biggest blockbusters when it released in 2005. The movie also starred Prabhas in the lead role and Rajamouli managed to showcase Prabhas in a new light. Chatrapathi had all the elements to make it a success like a gripping plot, interval bang, stupendous acting and amazing music. Chatrapathi is finally getting a Hindi remake and will star Bellamkonda Sreenivas in the lead role.
The rumour mill in the Tollywood industry has been abuzz with talk about Bellamkonda Sreenivas making his Bollywood debut with the remake of Chatrapathi. The official announcement for the project came today and noted director V.V. Vinayak will be directing the Hindi remake. It is also interesting to note V.V. Vinayak also directed Bellamkonda Sreenivas debut movie in Tollywood which is Alludu Seenu. Chatrapathi will be produced by Dr. Jayantilal Gada.

Earlier there were rumours of director Sujeeth being roped in to make the Hindi remake but Sujeeth was quick to clarify he was not directing any Hindi remakes and instead prefers to write his own scripts.
On the professional front, Bellamkonda Sreenivas will be next seen in the upcoming Telugu film Alludu Adhurus which also stars Nabha Natesh. The film is touted to be a comedy action entertainer and is directed by Kandireega fame Santhosh Srinivas. Music will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad while Chota K Naidu will handle the camera. Subrahmanyam Gorrela is bankrolling this high budget entertainer under Sumanth Movie Productions Banner.
