Ananya Panday who made her debut in the film industry with Student Of The Year, directed by Karan Johar, is all set to make her debut in Tollywood with the Vijay Deverakonda-starrer with Fighter. This film is directed by Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda will be seen playing an intense role. In a recent interview, Ananya revealed about her upcoming project Fighter and about her dream role.
The young actress is now excited about her forthcoming projects in Hindi and Telugu. Speaking about pan Indian film Fighter, Ananya said, “That is a different world altogether. I’m very much excited (sic.)”
Ananya revealed about her dream role and said she wants to try something in action now. Speaking about her Fighter co-star Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya said, “He is very different from how he portrays himself on screen, in reality, he is soft-spoken, sweet, kind and quite unlike his powerful presence on the screen.”

Fighter is directed by Puri Jagannadh and is touted to be a sports drama based on a boxing backdrop. The maiden schedule of the Puri Jagannadh directorial was shot in Mumbai during the early months of 2020 and has reportedly resumed shoot post COVID period. The film is produced by Puri Jagannadh’s banner Puri Connects and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
