Day 78 begins with the nomination task, where each contestant has to wear a cap and freeze until Bigg Boss’ next order. Abhijeet, Avinash, Ariyana and Akhil were nominated for wearing red caps while Sohel and Monal got saved for wearing a green cap. The nominated contestants can swap with saved contestants by convincing them. Avinash tries to convince Sohel and Monal to swap but couldn’t as he gets into a heated argument with Monal.

Akhil and Monal got into a heated argument while trying to make the swap. Both give out their reasons, which causes a verbal spat. Ariyana and Avinash engaged in a spat with Monal arguing her to swap because she is a weak contestant. Sohel offered to swap with Akhil but Akhil refused it. Abhijeet doesn’t want to swap with Monal as he was touched by her mom’s gesture for calling him the favourite contestant. However, Harika used her special power as a captain and swapped Monal with Abhijeet. Avinash, Akhil, Ariyana and Monal got nominated for eviction this week.
