Anand Deverakonda EXCLUSIVE Interview: Took Cooking Workshops To Master Bombay Chutney In Middle Class Melodies

Actor Anand Deverakonda is looking forward to the release of his next film, Middle Class Melodies, which starts streaming on Amazon Prime Video from November 20.  The film is written and directed by debutant Vinod Anantoju and features Varsha Bollamma as the leading lady of the film.

When asked how he mastered the Bombay chutney in the film, Anand said, “I never tried to cook in real life.  For this film and for Bombay chutney I took some workshops and learned cooking.  Even in lockdown, I never went into the kitchen to try anything. For Middle Class Melodies, I took three to four cooking classes (sic.)”

When asked if he takes any suggestions or advice from his brother Vijay Deverakonda while signing a film, the actor said, “He doesn’t look into any of my movies, we just discuss casually like friends.  After the movie is completed, Vijay watches the movie and then suggests if I could have done better anywhere.  I use that suggestion for my next film and improve myself (sic.)”

Varsha Bollamma expresses about working with Anand Deverakonda and says, “Anand is a very good actor.  In fact, he is a director’s actor, whatever the director wants, Anand gives it.  It felt really nice working with him (sic.)”

Anand Deverakonda described Middle Class Melodies as a ‘fun and light-hearted movie’. He said, “Middle Class Melodies is a fresh team of brilliant actors and crew, who will impress you throughout the film.  We are very satisfied with the film and now we are waiting for an audience reaction (sic.)”
