Nandamuri Balakrishna attended the poster launch of the upcoming Telugu film Sehari and made some interesting comments about the novel Coronavirus and vaccination. He went on to say that the Coronavirus vaccine will not come out anytime soon.
Urging people to stay safe during the festive season he said, “Coronavirus is like pneumonia and it mutates in the human body. That is the main reason why even after so many months, the vaccination is still in process. In fact, there might be no vaccine either as the virus is a lipid-protein. Corona is also the kind of virus that confuses the human mind (sic.)”
The actor said there are people who advise others to take bath in cold water. “Never do that during coronavirus. Don’t worry about ‘punyam’ and all in this phase of the pandemic. Take bath with hot water. Gurgle salt water twice a day (sic.)”
On the work front, Nandamuri Balakrishna will be next seen in an upcoming tentatively titled flick #NBK106, directed by Boyapati Srinu. The movie is touted to be a grand spectacle and will have Balakrishna in never seen before avatars. The combination of Boyapati and Balakrishna gave us extraordinary blockbusters like Simha (2010) and Legend (2014.) #NBK106 is being produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under his banner Dwaraka Creations. S.S. Thaman is composing the music for this film.
#NBK106 is currently preparing to resume shooting after 6 months of coronavirus lockdown with Balakrishna and other artists of the film. Reportedly, the team is planning to erect big sets at Ramoji film city and finish the shoot in a single schedule. The film’s release has reportedly been pushed to next year’s Sankranthi festival.
