Director Vivek Athreya, who bagged success with films like Mental Madhilo and Brochevarevarura, is all set for his next with Natural Star Nani. The films also stars award-winning Malayalam actress, Nazriya Nazim as the female lead.
This untitled film will mark the debut of Nazriya in the Tollywood industry. Speaking about bringing her on board with #Nani28, Vivek Athreya said, “She’s such a talented actress and I’ve always wanted to make a film with her. I’m so thrilled that she is making her Tollywood debut with my film. In fact, Nani and Nazriya make for a dream combo. The both of them are the perfect fit for their characters and I’m so glad they agreed to come on board (sic.)”
Interestingly, Nazriya will dub for her own lines in her Tollywood debut. Vivek added further saying, “When I asked Nazriya if she can dub for herself in the film, she agreed immediately, even though she doesn’t know the language. There is time for the film’s shoot to get underway so she will be taking Telugu lessons in the meantime. She’s a fast learner so I’m sure she’ll do great (sic.)”

The untitled film is touted to be a comedy-drama and will have many different layers to it. The team will start rolling after Nani’s Tuck Jagadish and Shyam Singha Roy. Mythri Movie Makers will be bankrolling this project.
