In August this year, Tamannaah Bhatia tested positive for COVID-19 and has recently recovered from it. Calling her experience a ‘scary one,’ the actress went on to reveal that she even faced the thought of death at one point.
Speaking about her COVID experience in an interview, Tamannaah said, “I was really scared when getting treated, there was a constant fear of death in me. I had very severe symptoms that I knew had killed others on their way to recovery. But the doctors truly saved me and I should thank my parents too for standing in support. It made me realise how valuable life truly is (sic.)”
Tamannaah also said the aftermath of recovering from Coronavirus was not pleasant either as she has faced body shaming. “How insensitive can people around us be? I was on heavy medication throughout the process which made me look heavy. There are many who called me fat when I posted a picture. It showed me how some can’t see through what the person has gone through and instead, just look for flaws (sic.)”
On the work front, Tamannaah will also next be seen in the sports drama Seetimaarr, co-starring Gopichand and Digangana Suryavanshi in the lead roles. The actress will also be seen in the Telugu remake of the Bollywood movie, Queen, which is titled That is Mahalakshmi, directed by Prashanth Varma. Tamannaah will also feature alongside Satya Dev for the Telugu remake of the popular Kannada film Love Mocktail, which is titled Gurthunda Seethakalam.
