#GreenIndiaChallenge was an initiative which was begun by the Member of Parliament (MP) Mr. Santosh Kumar Joginpally. People taking up the challenge are required to plant a sapling and nurture it till it grows into a plant or a tree. Many Tollywood celebrities took the challenge and planted saplings and some of the celebrities include Brahmanandam, Prabhas and Udaya Bhanu. When Ram Charan took up the challenge he nominated his co-star from RRR Alia Bhatt to take up the challenge herself.
Alia Bhatt finally responded to the challenge by letting everyone know she had a lot of time during the lockdown which she used to pot many plants. Although she did not have any pictures of her planting saplings, Alia went on to nominate three more people to take up the Green India challenge.

Alia Bhatt will be seen as the leading lady in Rajamouli’s upcoming magnum opus Roudram Ranam Rudhiram also popularly known as RRR. Ram Charan will be playing the role of Alluri Sitarama Raju and Jr. NTR will be playing the role of Komaram Bheem. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Olivia Morris, Allison Doody and Ray Stevenson would be essaying pivotal supporting roles in the film. M.M. Keeravani is composing the music while DVV Entertainments is producing the movie. Alia Bhatt will travel to Hyderabad to shoot the sequences for RRR in the coming week.
