The day when a contestant was finally here as one more contestant would be eliminated. Since it is Diwali, housemates are treated to gifts by Nagarjuna but they have to do a task to get them. The gifts are chosen by the housemates for their favourite friend in the house. Harika gets gifts from both Abhijeet and Lasya, the only contestant to get two gifts. Abhijeet, Ariyana, Lasya and Avinash had to return the gifts because they failed the tasks. Monal and Avinash did not get any gifts so Nagarjuna gifted them fish curry and sweets from Ahmedabad.
Abhijeet is the first contestant to be saved and Mehboob announces his name. Nagarjuna announces Suma will be a wildcard entry because it is Diwali week. Anchor Suma tells one feature contestants are easily recognised by according to what she has watched on television so far. But, Suma was not really going inside the house and was in fact brought in to talk about what viewers think of the contestants. Monal is the next contestant to be saved leaving Avinash and Amma Rajasekhar in the final list of contestants to be eliminated. Amma Rajasekhar ends up being eliminated even though he is the captain because he does not have immunity for the last week. Amma Rajasekhar makes Mehboob the acting captain in his absence.
