Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is making a highly anticipated return to acting after taking a long sabbatical to pursue his political ambitions with the JanaSena party. Pawan Kalyan has been signing multiple projects ever since his return to acting and one of the latest signings is the remake of the Malayali superhit movie Ayyapanum Koshiyum. The remake will be directed by Sagar K Chandra.
Sai Pallavi is the latest actor to get onboard the cast of the telugu remake of Ayyapanum Koshiyum and she will be playing the role of Kannamma which was played by Gowri Nandha in the original movie. Gowri’s portrayal of Kannamma earned her critical acclaim. Ayyapanum Koshiyum is a drama starring actor and director Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon in the lead. The movie has two protagonists and Pawan Kalyan is interested in donning the role of one of them for the remake. Sithara Entertainments will be producing the Telugu remake.

On the other side, Sai Pallavi is waiting for the release of her next with Naga Chaitanya in Sekhar Kammula directorial titled Love Story. The film will hit the big screen once the theatres open again. Sai Pallavi will also be seen in the Rana Daggubati starrer Virata Parvam which is based in the naxalite era in Andhra Pradesh.
