Sankranthi is usually a busy time for production houses as they try to release their movies during the festive season as people eagerly look forward to watching new movies during the holidays. This year we had Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Sarileru Neekevvaru both of which were blockbusters. Ravi Teja-Shruti Haasan Starrer Krack is also vying for a Sankranthi release as the makers recently announced officially the movie will release for Sankranthi next year.
The official announcement came on the auspicious occasion of Dussera/ Vijaya Dasami as the makers put out a new poster along with the announcement of the release time. Ravi Teja will once again be seen in a police avatar for his upcoming film Krack, as the lead actor. The movie is being directed by Gopichand Malineni, and the Gopichand-Ravi Teja combo previously gave us hit movies like Don Seenu and Balupu. Krack will star Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Samuthirakani.

With movie theaters being allowed to reopen from October 15th, filmmakers can breathe a sigh of relief although only 50% seating capacity is allowed at the moment. Earlier director Gopichand Malineni broke his silence and ended the deliberations once and for all when he tweeted Krack will only release in movie theaters. The Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan starrer has only 10 days of shooting left to complete the film. Krack is produced by B. Madhu under his production company Saraswathi Films Division while S.S.Thaman is the music composer.
