Now, after a very long time, Mohan Babu will be seen playing a lead role in a patriotic film Son Of India.
Mohan Babu starrer Son Of India has been officially launched today with a formal pooja ceremony at his residence in Hyderabad. Viranica Manchu, Ayra, Avram switched on the camera, while Vidya Nirvana Manchu, Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna sounded the clapboard and Vishnu Manchu directed the muhurtham shot. The script was handed over to the Directional team by Ariaana Manchu, Viviana Manchu. The film’s regular shoot also commences today.
On Independence day, Mohan Babu announced the title and first look and it was received well by the audience. The storyline and genre are first of its kind in Tollywood and Mohan Babu is playing a never-seen-before powerful role.

Son Of India will be directed by Diamond Ratnababu and is being produced by Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures and 24 Frames Factory, both of which are co-owned by Mohan Babu. Maestro Ilayaraja is on board to score music for the film, while Sarvesh Murari is the cinematographer. Mohan Babu is also providing the screenplay for the film that has dialogues by Diamond Ratnababu and Thotapalli Sainath. Suddala Ashoka Teja pens lyrics, while Gautham Raju is the editor. Viranica Manchu is the stylist for Mohan Babu, whereas Chinna is the art director.
