Daggubati Venkatesh starrer Narappa is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Asuran, which starred Dhanush in the lead role. Asuran is a superhit intense movie with some gritty and rustic acting performances, which is now being remade in Telugu. The team of Narappa are planning to resume shooting from November post a 6-month long stall.
The film completed a major chunk of shooting in Rayalaseema and other locations before the lockdown was issued. According to the sources, Venkatesh has agreed to shoot for Narappa from November 5. This role requires him to have a beard, and he decided to do a five-day shoot till November 9, so that he can complete the scenes with the beard.
After the five-day shoot, he may return for further shooting after a month. There will only be flashback scenes remaining, where he doesn’t need the beard, so he can do the shoot leisurely, according to reports.
