SS Rajamouli is one of the maverick filmmakers of Indian cinema. If cinema is the director’s medium, then SS Rajamouli is its mascot. It’s a dream of every actor to work with Rajamouli and why not, in the illustrious span of two decades, the director has helmed some blockbuster movies and changed the dynamics of Indian cinema.  With extravagant films like Baahubali series and Magadheera, Rajamouli has made the audience connect to one epic scene from every film.  Be it the 100 members fight in Magadheera or bullfight in Baahubali or unique clapping scene in Vikramarkudu, Rajamouli managed to pull the audience into the theatre with his impeccable storytelling and direction skills.

In today’s Tuesday Trivia article we at Telugu Filmnagar we bring to you, two interesting facts about Rajamouli.  Did you know that Rajamouli can speak fluent Kannada and is well versed in the language even though he is a Telugu.  Rajamouli was born in Raichur, Karnataka and even though his family hails from Kovvur, Andhra Pradesh.  Did you know the ace director Rajamouli is an Atheist by choice and does not believe in god.  However, Rajamouli respects those who believe in god and worship.

Rajamouli is currently working on his next project RRR which has Ram Charan and Jr. NTR as the leads.  The movie tells the fictional story of Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.  The RRR team has wrapped up 70% of shooting in March by shooting at various locations like Hyderabad, Vadodara and Bulgaria with the lead actors.  Some of the major portions are yet to be shot with Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and other actors.  Olivia Morris, Allison Doody and Ray Stevenson would be essaying pivotal supporting roles. M.M. Keeravani is composing the music while DVV Entertainments is producing the movie.
