Satyadev Kancharana is one of the better actors in Tollywood and there is definitely no denying that. His splendid performance in the recently released film Uma Maheswara Urga Roopasya proves his caliber as an actor. With success streak hitting back to back, Satyadev has a slew of Telugu films in his kitty.
Satydev’s next Telugu film was announced recently. He will be joining hands with Kiraak Party director Sharan Koppisetty for a new film titled Thimmarusu. The film’s muhurtham ceremony was held on Sunday in the presence of cinematographer Appu Prabhakar, who gave the first clap. Raja and Vedavyas handed over the script. The film stars Priyanka Jawalkar as the leading lady of the film.

Talking about the movie, the producers said, “Satyadev has played a variety of roles from the beginning and has got a unique image. We are happy to have him on board. ‘Thimmarusu’ presents him in a unique way. As for the film, its concept is novel. The shoot will begin from October 21. The plan is to complete the principal photography in a long schedule (sic.)”

The film is bankrolled by Mahesh S. Koneru and Srujan Yarabolu under East Coast Productions and S Originals banners respectively. The title poster of the film has been released and it shows the statue of blindfolded justice holding scales in both hands. It comes with the tagline “Assignment Vaali”. The film will go on to floors soon and the details of the cast will be revealed in the upcoming days.
