Prashanth Neel would not have imagined the kind of stardom he would achieve when he released his movie KGF: Chapter 1, in 2018. The movie stars Kannada star Yash in the titular role as Rocky Bhai and tells the story of Rocky’s journey to become India’s biggest don. The sequel KGF: Chapter 2 will offer a conclusion to the journey of Rocky Bhai. KGF is touted to be the biggest release for this year as fans all over the country are excited to watch the journey of Rocky Bhai come to an end.
In a much needed update, the filmmakers have revealed the final leg of shooting for KGF: Chapter 2 has begun and Rocking Star Yash will be joining the sets from tomorrow. In what can be called as big news for fans, KGF: Chapter 2 will complete its last and final shooting by the end of October. This means a trailer might also be on the cards.

Prakash Raj is the latest actor to join the already stellar cast of KGF: Chapter 2 as the shooting resumed last month. However, the antagonist Sanjay Dutt who is playing the role of Adheera was diagnosed with cancer a while ago. Sanjay Dutt has since then been undergoing treatment for cancer and has taken a three month break.
KGF: Chapter 1 told the story of a young boy, who grows into a dreaded gangster in the Mumbai underworld. A part of the film is set in the Kolar Gold Fields, and is rumoured to be inspired by the life of a history sheeter called Thangam. KGF: Chapter 2 also features Shrindhi Shetty and Raveena Tandon in pivotal roles.
