10 years of Khaleja: Mahesh Babu Calls It A Special One And Hints A Third Time Collaboration With Trivikram Srinivas

Superstar Mahesh Babu and ace director Trivikram Srinivas collaborated the second time for the superhit film Khaleja, which created blockbuster records.  The film is still loved by many moviegoers for its unique storyline, dialogues and songs.  Today, Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas’ collaborated film Khaleja completed a decade of its theatrical release.

On October 7th, 2010, Mahesh Babu and Anushka Shetty starrer Khaleja was released and today the film marks 10 years.  Mahesh Babu, who played the lead protagonist, went down the memory lane and termed the film as a special one, which reinvented him as an actor.  The actor thanked director Trivikram for the superhit film Khaleja and also hinted at a collaboration very soon.  This tweet is making fans go gaga as the duo previously collaborated films Athadu and Khaleja have worked quite well and now all the eyes are on the third time collaboration.

Mahesh Babu took to his Twitter handle and shared a making video of Khaleja on its 10 years anniversary and wrote, “Khaleja turns 10!! Reinvented myself as an actor!! Will remain a special one!! All thanks to my good friend and the brilliant Trivikram… Looking forward to our next… very soon 😎😎😎 (sic.)”

Mahesh Babu plays the character of a god-sent man, who is worshipped by the entire village.  Khaleja narrates the story of a village, which is hounded by an unknown disease, killing several people each month.  As per a prophecy, Mahesh Babu saves the village.

Khaleja features Anushka Shetty as the lead actress while Prakash Raj, Sunil, Brahmanandam, Amit Tiwari, Ali and Shafi play pivotal roles.  The film received positive reviews from the critics and audiences while praising Mahesh Babu’s acting performance, storyline and Trivikram’s direction.
