Hebah Patel is basking in the success of her recently released film Orey Bujjiga, which also starred Raj Tarun and Malvika Nair and was released on the OTT platform, Aha. She is also gearing up to play a challenging role in her upcoming film Odela Railway Station, directed by debutant Ashok Teja, and story by Sampath Nandi.
Hebah Patel, who is known for playing the glamorous bombshell on-screen, will be seen in a de-glam role, where she will be seen without any makeup on. Speaking to a leading daily about her challenging role in the film, Hebah Patel said, “Odela Railway Station will always remain special to me years down the line as I am trying out a non-glam role for the first time. I am excited but scared too as I’m usually so conscious about my screen presence. Playing a rustic character is out of my comfort zone but as they say – do what scares you the most – and that’s what I’m trying to do.” She can’t wait for people to see her in a whole new avatar, she adds, “I can’t wait for the audience to see a whole new side of me, doing such a role is liberating. I no longer have to get to the sets early to sit in front of the mirror for hours while my makeup is put on. I’m going straight to shoot now (sic.)”
The team of Odela Railway station resumed shooting last week by adhering to all the COVID rules and regulations issued by the government. Reportedly, it will be a non-stop schedule and the entire team is putting its efforts to finish the shoot.
