Films which have been waiting for the release for a long time are now opting for direct release on OTT platforms.
Anushka Shetty and R. Madhavan starrer Nishabdham, which has released directly on Amazon Prime Videos, has been receiving rave reviews. Lead actor Madhavan, who plays a musician in the film, has left fans in awe with his performance. He is getting solid applause and has done well in his role. The Nishabdham team recently had a media interaction and Madhavan was asked the question of how he felt doing such a dark role.
Madhavan said that he is loving playing those roles with negative shades these days. He says the way roles bring a twist in the film is quite shocking and he likes experimenting with such roles.

Nishabdham is a thriller starring Anushka Shetty as a mute artist and Madhavan as a musician in the lead roles while Hollywood’s Michael Madsen, Anjali, Subbaraju, Shalini Pandey and Srinivas Avasarala will appear in supporting roles. Nishabdham has premiered on Amazon Prime Videos on October 2 in multiple languages – Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The film is produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad under the banners People Media Factory and is directed by Hemanth Madhukar.
