Rakul Preet Singh has resumed work in September second week after 6 months of Coronavirus lockdown. Rakul flew back to Hyderabad from Mumbai to resume shooting for Krish Jagarlamudi’s untitled film which also stars Vaishnav Tej.
The team of Krish’s film is currently shooting in the Vikarabad forest area in Hyderabad. A source close to the unit told a leading daily that the unit is not the least rattled by Rakul’s newly-found controversial image. “Krish Sir and everyone in the crew is going about their work as normal. There’s no talk of the ‘d’ word on the set at all (sic.)”
The source describes Rakul as a ‘brave girl.’ “She is under tremendous stress. But she brings none of it on the sets. In fact, she jokes around the most and drug scandal won’t affect Rakul’s career (sic.)”
Apparently, this film is based on the well acclaimed novel Kondapolam, which was written by Sannapu Reddy Venkat Ramireddy. Rajeev Reddy is producing this film and music director M.M. Keeravani and cinematographer Gnana Shekar have been roped in for the film. Last week, Rakul Preet Singh was spotted in Vikarabad dressed as a village belle and there is a high chance her character for the movie is that of a village girl. Rakul was dressed in a sari and the shoot took place around the Vikarabad forest region.
