Sharwanand starrer Mahanubhavudu clocks three years of its release today. This movie proved Sharwanand can play any character and be the best. Mehreen Pirzada was the leading lady of the film. Mahanubhavudu was a box office success as fans loved the OCD obsessive character played by Sharwanand and the sizzling chemistry between the lead actors in the film.
The film was helmed by ace director Maruthi and produced by UV Creations. The makers got nostalgic and shared a picture of Sharwanand from the film and wrote, “3 Years For CLEAN BLOCKBUSTER #Mahanubhavudu. Thank you everyone for making it a memorable one for us! (sic.)”

Mahanubhavudu revolves around a young man Anand, who suffers from an obsessive-compulsive personality disorder and falls in love with his colleague, Meghana faces a dilemma after his fixation comes in the way of having a normal relationship. Mahanubhavudu also starred Vennela Kishore, Nassar, Kalyani Natarajan, Bhadram, Himaja, Raghu Babu and Rajitha in significant roles. Besides impressive acting performances by the cast, a breezy soundtrack by composer S.S. Thaman.
