Vijay Deverakonda’s popularity got a rocket boost owing to the modern cult classic Arjun Reddy. Whether you love it or hate it, the movie went on to do extremely well at the box office and even spawned two remakes in Hindi (Kabir Singh) and Tamil. Since then Vijay has been on a signing spree as he has already signed movies with Puri Jagannadh, an untitled movie with Shiva Nirvana and another movie called Hero.
Vijay Deverakonda is however showing no signs of stopping as he announced another new movie and this time with director Sukumar. The announcement coincided with his friend Kedar Selagamsetty’s first production venture under his production house Falcon Creations. Vijay said “The actor in me is super excited . The audience in me is celebrating! We guarantee you memorable Cinema.. I can’t wait to be on set with Sukku sirrr (sic.)”

On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda is all set to make his debut in the Bollywood industry and experiment with another unique role. Vijay Deverakonda is currently working on Fighter, which is being directed by Puri Jagannadh. Bollywood diva Ananya Pandey is the leading lady. Karan Johar is co-producing under Dharma Productions along with Puri Jagannadh’s Puri Connects.
It will be interesting to see what kind of story Sukumar spins for Vijay Deverakonda since Sukumar’s storylines have a reputation for being rustic and highly engaging as well thought provoking.
