When Dookudu released to the audiences in 2011, Tollywood witnessed something new as Dookudu went on to become a hit in magnitudes anyone could ever comprehend. Mahesh Babu completely stole the show along with some stellar performances from the supporting cast as well as director Srinu Vaitla’s vision. Dookudu is a movie which can be watched any number of times without getting bored for its rib tickling comedy and Brahmanandam. The film collected a distributor share of ₹619 million in its lifetime and grossed more than ₹1 billion in its lifetime making it the highest grosser of Telugu cinema at that time. On the work front, Mahesh Babu will be next seen in the upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata, directed by Parasuram. The music of the film is composed by S.S. Thaman and reportedly, Keerthy Suresh has been roped in to play the leading lady. The actor will also be collaborating with S.S. Rajamouli for the first time and the official announcement is likely to happen soon.
