Biopic On Ram Gopal Varma Gets Launched In The Presence Of His Mother And Sister

A few days ago, versatile filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) announced his biopic titled Ramu.  The biopic will be released in three parts, which will run for a total of six hours. Today, on September 16, the grand inaugural event of Ramu biopic took place.

The event was attended by the cast and crew of the film along with Ram Gopal Varma’s family members.  RGV’s mother Suryavathi began the event by switching on the camera, while his sister Vijaya sounded the first clap for the opening shot.

RGV biopic is being directed by Dorasai Teja, and produced by Bommaku Murali under the banner of Bommaku Creations.  The 20-year-old Dorasai who is directing the film, is also playing the younger role of RGV in the film.  The biopic will cover RGV’s college days to his successful journey to the feature film director of India.

Ram Gopal Varma remains one of the most adulated film directors in India, who quit a civil engineering job and took to direction with Siva and achieved star director status with his films as Rangeela, Satya, Kshana Kshanam, Raatri, Gaayam, Money, Anaganaga Oka Roju, and a host of other political and gangster movies.
